VINTAGE JAPANESE 8" WIRELESS CLOISONNE PLATE- EXOTIC!!
Here is a beautiful old 8 1/8" diameter wireless cloisonne plate from Japan. This plate is distinguished by its beautiful blending of exotic translucent shades of green enamels - from leaf to lime - set on a heavy copper.base. The plate has the usual minor edge wear of such plates, but in this case the visible copper color enhances the greens rather than detracts. There is also one small chip in the interior of the plate which is not easy to find. The back of the plate is enameled black.
