Mercedes Benz W 125 Silver Arrow M-031

The W125 is (beautifully) constructed of 586 metal components, of which 37 are photo-etched and 101 plastic parts. The seats are textile upholstered and the dash panel is made from stainless steel. The bonnet is fully louvered and held in place by spring loaded catches which replicate the originals. Think of the catches on the W154 but on this car they actually work. The exhaust is of chromed metal with a heat burnished look to it- all orange and gold and beautiful. The steering wheel is crafted of photo-etched metal and plastic and the under bonnet area houses a wealth of detail that other manufacturers can only as yet aspire to. The wheels are bog-standard CMC offerings, i.e. fashioned from real metal spokes, unprecedented and glorious, and the car rests on springs that are supple and do not stress the other suspension components when loaded. The paint is without flaw, even on the louvered area of the bonnet.
