Morris Mini Cooper S 1967, WS 08
Here's one that snuck up on us...our usual sources didn't even know about it until it showed up at the FM Annual Auto Festival!!!! The Mini-Cooper has been around since the mid-60s, terrorizing the English countryside (as well as the roads up and down South Mountain in Bethlehem, Pa. among other places) with its incredible speed packaged in a vehicle that's almost 3/4 the size of a 2CV Citroen!!!! FM has captured the look and feel of this one to a T. It's absolutely a delight. All functions operate as they should with all panels fitting snugly within the body. This one's got springs, tiny 13" wheels, and the base (non-alloy) disc wheels. Done in red with a black top, this little model is like a ball of sunshine... makes you smile every time you look at it!! It astounds me how much detail has been crammed into such a tiny model... and it's dead on the money in the accuracy department!! Even if you don't collect the kind of vehicle, this is a MUST HAVE.... and it's even reasonably priced!!!
